Boi gordo em alta no Mato Grosso

O ano começou com preços em alta no mercado do boi gordo no Mato Grosso.
Em relação aos preços praticados nas últimas semanas de dezembro de 2008, os principais reajustes ocorreram nas regiões Norte e Sudeste do Estado, 8,96% e 5,80% respectivamente. De acordo com levantamento da Scot Consultoria, em ambas as praças, a arroba foi negociada ontem a R$73,00, a prazo, para descontar o Funrural.
Na região de Cuiabá, o preço da arroba do boi gordo subiu 2,86% e, em Barra do Garça, o aumento foi de 1,41%. Nas duas regiões a arroba do boi fechou em R$72,00, a prazo, para descontar o imposto.
O início da semana, como de costume, foi marcado por poucas negociações.
Apesar da melhoria nas pastagens em grande parte do Estado, a oferta de animais para abate ainda é baixa. Muitos pecuaristas estão segurando o gado na tentativa de preços melhores.
A menor disponibilidade de animais refletiu em escalas mais curtas. Segundo alguns frigoríficos, o mercado deve reagir mais um pouco no curto prazo. É o mercado se ajustando novamente.
