Preço do bezerro dispara e não deve parar por aí

De acordo com o levantamento do Cepea(Centro de Estudos Avançados em Economia Aplicada), da Esalq/USP, o indicador de bezerro no MS foi cotado a R$ 525,41/cabeça, nesta sexta-feira. Acumulando variação positiva de 8,33% (R$ 40,41), desde o início de 2008.
Para os analistas, ainda há espaço para novos ganhos, sendo que o pico deve ser atingido no próximo ano. Somente ao longo do mês de março, a arroba do boi gordo reagiu 1,46%, para o patamar dos R$ 76 em São Paulo, enquanto o bezerro valorizou 3,57%.
Segundo reportagem de Érica Pólo, do Diário do Comércio e Indústria/SP, é esperado aumento de oferta somente em maio de 2010. “Houve estímulo para investimentos na cria em 2008, mas como o bezerro demora a ser produzido, esses aportes vão gerar mais animais em maio de 2010″, avaliou Miguel Cavalcanti, da consultoria AgriPoint.
Para o diretor da AgraFNP, José Vicente Ferraz, esse movimento de alta de preços do bezerro não é anormal. “É a maior evidência de reversão de ciclo que se pode ter”, disse.
